J11B sat nav beep

Hi all

Got my new J11B Tekna+ 1.2 today. I must say its a mayor upgrade, from our old J11. Smoother gearshift, steady steering wheel, quieter cabin etc.

But one annoying thing, every time the sat nav announces the next turn, I hear a annoyingshort "beep". I can't find a option to disable it

Any idea?

It should only happen on certain sharp bends; will also beep if system believes you're approaching bends too fast.
When it beeps, try turning volume button down or turn off via settings as described in supplied manual.

Ok but it's a very quick beep. It's when the navigation diasplay new turning route.

I'll must look in the manual. It's very annoying

Congratulations on getting your new Tekna+. Yes, it’s quite an improvement over the J11A with regards to the ride quality and fuel efficiency.

I have also noticed that beep you mention when I’m using the Sat Nav. It’s similar to the beep/chime which alerts you to the fact that someone hasn’t fastened their seatbelt! I haven’t come across a setting to mute it yet!

Also the quick button to turn off parking sensors on the dashboard is removed. Any alternative?

It doesn’t look like there is a quick alternative to switch off the parking sensors. Nissan also removed the button to turn of the ultrasonic alarm, which used to be situated near the interior light/rear view mirror.

Looks like the only solution is to use the vehicle information display and navigate to the Driver Assistance > Parking Aids menu

But again, the car itself is very nice. The whole driving experience and build quality is much better. Now we just need a power tailgate, like in the new X-Trail

I'll asked my dealer, but they said that it's impossible, to fit the X-Trail power tailgate in the new Qashqai :\

Hmm the dealer told me that the beep can be turned off here: Setup->Navigation->Map guidens...->Speed guidens Cu... set to OFF.

But the funny thing is, that it's already turned off :\
