Just bought an N Connecta QQ and there's some icons on the sat nav that I can't find out what they are.
Its a small black or grey line, they don't seem to correspond with any road features etc.
I've attached an image I found to show them.

Pointer to road names maybe?

Road name pointers. You can just make out the road names that appear to be washed out.
