Good long read. I guess I'll have to hang myself out of the rear of the car somehow while wife drives it and see if it works. Read that it only works with car at certain speed.
Anyone know any stunt men I can hire for the task?
It's just crazy that the manual doesn't mention anything. Good old Nissan always leaves you guessing.

Its a real shame Nissan have dropped this feature. Rear camera is a problem now as its always dirty or wet.

Today believe it or not I finally discovered and proved to myself that my 2018 J11B Tekna does not have the famous self cleaning rear view camera system.
I was told on this forum that it definitely had it.
I took all tailgate trim off to fix my alarm rubber button connector that had come loose and had a good look around.
There is no water hose or air pump to blow air directed to my rear camera.
If it did have it in previous QQ models that would have been a great gadget.
I bought mine from new so there is no way someone has removed it.
Too bad.
Must have had too many problems so they must have retracted it.
I'll have to stick with manual cleaning.
