Fitted the piaa slim dual tone horns today. They fitted in nice and snug, all that was needed was an extra hole drilled in the original bracket to take the 2nd horn.
Sounds a million times better, I'm no longer embarrassed to honk the horn!

Today I removed that pathetic factory fitted horn and replaced with twin PIAA slimline horns...a little fabrication on the bracket but well worth doing, they sound much better!

Is the PIAA still recommended and can be a direct replacement. Seen a single dual tone horn but not sure if it will fit and similar price. Need something to improve the gnats f*** that's standard. Also do you need to fit a relay, get the impression no.
Thanks

The PIAA pair won't fit in the space of the production horn. Only one will, so I fitted the low tone horn of the pair. My QQ has two production horns and the second one is buried behind the engine somewhere.
A single horn does not need a relay...it uses the existing production relay. I don't think installing a second horn needs a relay either but have not investigated further.
