Emergency braking system fault

Hey everyone - I might have asked this before and believe me I have tried "search" both on here and on The App Store

I can't find any info on You +; you+, you+nissan, etc. etc.

Anyone got the actual name of the app. and is it of any value ??

Hello MikeGC,

I believe You+Nissan is only accessible from an internet web browser. There is no App available for it. If you haven't registered already, you can do so on the Nissan website. You will need your VIN and car number plate to register your account, from memory.

Sandgrounder is correct, go to the Nissan website and sign up.

Mine has allegedly been repaired now.... it didn't require a replacement radar, just a software update to the PCM and the radar itself, as issued on 28th August.

Apparently some earlier and later vehicles may require a new radar, where the software on the radar cannot be updated.

Got the FEB System Service Campaign Notification re software update a couple weeks ago but haven't done yet. Any comments from people who have had update, i.e. - improvement, no obvious improvement, worse? Have had some issues with false positives and unecessary application of emergency braking straight away, i.e. no warning light first. However, from previous experience (not with Qashqai) software updates often have their own issues.

When I ordered my New QQ a couple of weeks ago I raised the question of the Braking system and they assured me the fault had been identified and a program put into place to rectify all QQs. I then asked to big question, have you had or know of any braking issues on QQs since the fix, they said "NO".

Ok they are dealers and we all know that little boys who tell lies grow up to be Car Dealers, Estate Agents or Politicians

I ask the questioned this was their reply.

Mine got fixed, but I never got the car back again due to having only owned it for 1 week and the gearbox also failing!

I traded up to a 2019 Tekna, and I have had 1 instance of the brakes applying... interestingly in the same location as the previous car (inside a multi-storey car park), so I'm not sure if the new one needs attention or not.

The previous 2018 QQ though, it set off a lot of yellow and red warnings without applying the brakes, which the newer one doesn't....
