Hi, just picked my pre reg QQ Tekna and am trying to get Nissan connect to work. I have managed to get it work tethered but not over Bluetooth. Can anyone confirm if they have it working over Bluetooth?

Separately I keep getting this message when trying to enable Facebook in the Nissan Conn3ct app running on iPhone. Trip advisor, twitter and Eurosport are all fine.

Ignore tethering, the app's a waste of time and was never developed as originally promised by NISSAN.
There's absolutely no need for the app to use BLUETOOTH.
Just follow instructions in supplied CONNECT manual.

As I recall phone calls and playing music can be done via Bluetooth but the apps on the Connect unit only work whilst tethered via cable plugged into the USB port in the armrest.

Same problem here, Nissan is replacing my head unit in the following few weeks as my hands free button also does not work along with faulting sensors. The car is now 3 months old with 800km on clock. My driving habits are using my phone a lot so I made sure that the new car I purchased had hands free but was tricked.

Iā€™m happy to speak privatly but will not post much more on this forum due to previous bullying.

I'm 100% with Gel on this. The Apps are useless and have not been developed since inception, even though the advertising suggest different. Just not worth the bother. Even the best app "Google Search" is better run from your phone using voice commands, assuming this actually works for you.

I have a new shape 2017 Tekna plus. The Nissan Connect app is useless. The hype sounding the New Qashqai and its technology with phone integration is totally fraudulent and misleading. My old ford fiesta even had voice activation calling and text messaging. This Qashqai is so basic with no ability of adding of any useful apps from your phone or even phone mirror to screen. Totally useless and feel I was mislead by Nissan.

From what I remember the Facebook app could only do check-in so pretty useless.
