You should push to have the battery replaced for free even if your car is out of warranty. I was told by my dealer that Nissan know there is a problem with the FIAMM batteries, but didn't do a recall as they didn't know what cars they were fitted in, so are just replacing as and when the faulty ones rear their ugly heads.

I have now had a new battery, new air intake temperature sensor and an oxygen sensor, all replaced without any problem by Nissan. The car is still under warranty.

Remember guys a new battery needs coding to your QQ, so it receives correct charge rate. To my knowledge most
tyre & battery specialists aren't able to effect this.

Yeah will have to it seems. Car warranty ran out a month ago. They actually changed the battery a year ago (had the car 2 yrs) due to issues, with a Nissan original battery. Will now replace it with a Varta and see if it helps. The other option is a Exide but im not sure which is best.
