The electric shock is a small issue for me at the moment, doesn't happen all the time too.

I would prefer to reattach the cable to its original location but cannot see where it should go...

So I’ve looked everywhere I think the earth cable could connect to and the only obvious point is the clutch housing, but this may not be right. I’m reluctant to fix it there because the car works fine and fixing to the clutch may cause problems.

If anyone is under their Qashqai this weekend I would be grateful if you can take a photo or just note where the connection is made.
