Hi, the past 6 months the battery has been randomly going flat every couple of months, its been driven daily. The battery in there at the minute is a wet type battery that you can top up. Can you replace these with a standard type battery or does it have to be like for like. Havent seen a wet type battery since my Austin Montego days :lol:

If your car doesn't have start / stop technology, then you can use just about any good quality lead acid battery of the same capacity & cranking rating. Basically , the battery manufacturers will have a compatibility chart / list you can check. Halfords is usually a first port of call to check prices.

Thanks, yeh it doesnt have stop start.

You can probably find a battery cheaper of ebay or amazon.
