Hi all,

First post here so thanks for letting me in. Looking for some advice please.

The other half has just tried to take the car (March 2013 Qashqai) and when trying to turn the ignition on it wouldn’t fire. She then took the key out to come and get me, but the wipers kept moving! I went to look and it’s true, the car is haunted and the wipers are moving with no keys. I tried to start multiple times with no luck, adjusted the wiper stalk and no luck. Just kept trying and eventually it fired and the car is going. Does anyone have a clue with what this could be?

Hi there, did your problem get diagnosed and sorted, or did it just go away? I've just started looking for info on exactly the same thing on my friend's 2009 QQ.
