hiI am a newbie and have just purchased an 09 plate qashqai and wonder whether i could fit a nissanconnect satnav that has come out of an 08 plate qashqai, and is this difficultMany thanksDaveycantor

no doubt you could if you researched it fully and then you would have an out of date sat nav that would not gain inforation on the location of speeding cameras each time you switched it on ( like a modern Ton Tom) ...???

as long as its definitely out of a qashqai then yes (make sure as if its not from a qashqai the steering controls will not work properly) , you will need a patch lead (available fron dealers for £11) and be sure the unit you buy includes the gps aerial and usb lead/port theres a full guide to fitting the connect if you google it :how to fit a connectonce you have fitted it you can upgrade the maps ect by buying a new sd car 2012 is the latest and can be bought on ebay for £20ish
