Used to be very handy having torque app with an elm327 with kia ex addon. Used to be able to view live dpf regenerations ( could see egr turning off,and dpf temperature reach 700+ temp) so you knew when to keep on trucking lol , could also view egr commanded and actual so you could see if the egr was blocking up before it ended up faulty

Unfortunately nissan ex add on doesn't show any usefully information as live data:( still good as a cheap fault code reader when the MIL light switches on. Using the renault ex addon tho does add some other readable sensors but from memory it was info on aircon

The nissan specific app nsi111 isn't any good either for live data as it's set up for petrol cars , but if you had a petrol it looks like a good app that can reset various sensors when fitting new parts.

Will look again as I did find another app which would also show pending faults also and let you know what it was called.

When I had the 360 CVT, I found a CVT diagnostics app for android which showed me all kinds of information specific to the CVT unit that the Torque app didn't.

You would think these days cars should be able to display the fault codes on a hidden system menu on the console system.
