Hi there,

I have a 57plate qashqai

The battery is getting tired and I want to change it. But I don't have the radio code for when I disconnect it. Can anyone help me please?

The radio serial number is PN2805FB 0046715

Thanks in advance

you can use jumper leads from a another car to keep the power to the car while you swap battery over....

Hi,

I have never tried this, but may be worth a shot. You won't be pulling much voltage/amps with this idea. How about you get a battery charger and connect it to the positive & negative during the battery swap. Keep the car ignition off etc. That would be enough to keep power onto the car 12v system.

Probably would be ideal for one of those emergency boosters as well.

Some QQs nead the the ecu programmed to match the new battery, to prevent overcharging and shorter life. My J10 from 2013 does at least. Perhaps best to check that first. Charger while swopping is a good idea.
