New carplay on current orders

So simple question but one that seems difficult to answer.

If I order a new qashqai for delivery end of November should it have carplay?

The simple answers are "Ask the dealer" and "Make it a specific condition of sale".

Ask the dealer and get the answer in writing - just in case.......

Kind of why I posted the question here, he is saying it is not on the new cars yet.

I can't trust him to give me a proper answer as he is trying to close a deal.

Coming to the end of a 3 year deal, he wants to swap now I don't mind waiting until the end of November to get the new update.

But I need to know for definite it is in cars produced before that end of November date.

Anyone know the actual situation?

If you haven't experienced Apple CarPlay and if it's anything like Android Auto you might be disappointed. OK so on my Ignis I can get Google Maps or Waze but neither is as good in terms of the actual map display as the built-in one - they're both zoomed out too far without any apparent way of resetting the default zoom. I have to drop out of Android Auto to be able to use the radio. I can't work out how to play music on my phone either whilst in Android Auto. And of course you have to physically plug the phone in too. So I don't often use it...

I just wanted it for a decent Sat Nav to be honest fed up with the poor Qashqai one presently.

Also might slightly affect resale value if it is not the latest and waiting 2 weeks would have been the better thing to do.

Also I feel like I'd be able to hack something my self if it is more industry standard

Just called Nissan customer services they don't have a clue either.
So either the reviews are wrong it's not in the October Qashqais or the reviews are right and Nissan UK don't have a clue about what is in their cars and when.

Hey,

I've got a new 1.3 QQ on order and I've been told that it'll be delivered by the end of Nov with the new infotainment system, with CarPlay and Android Auto.

It has however pushed the price up slightly.

Hopefully Nov is the rollout generally
