When I bought my car it was one of the things on the Defects List I compiled:
Radio security Code? Is there a code number for this radio? Not recorded in the instruction manual. Reported 12 March 2016
Advised code will be supplied
Advised on 23 March 2016 that the type of audio system fitted is not coded hence not relevant.
The battery was subsequently changed but by the dealer so I don't know whether there was an issue.

I'm not entirely sure where I heard this (on here or the Juke forum) but I believe DAB radios do not require a code as stated above by Gloucester

If like for like won't need recalibrating; you do need to get dealer to update car's BCM if new one has
different capacity. Output from alternator will need amending.
See attached.

Hi Guys, i bought a 67 plate Qashqai this year. Its done only 4200 Miles, however the battery just died out yesterday. I had to call out AA for a jump start to the vehicle, the mane ran some checks and told me the battery was flat. Am i supposed to pay for a new battery or is this something Nissan should replace? Surely batterys done die out in 13 months?
