Safety camera warning

Hi all,

New to the forum....apologies if this has been discussed before but l couldn’t find a related thread. Just took delivery of new NConnecta with sat nav.....previously had 64 plate Tekna which had camera warnings built in. No sign of it on the new Nissan Connect. Spoke with Nissan UK who claim that as its illegal in some E.U. countries they decided to remove the function completely.

Anyone else found download solution that works? Tried SpeedcamUpdates but system wouldn’t recognise the update from USB memory stick. Nothing on Navigation.com either.....(roll on Brexit! )

I use the weekly updates via

However, you must place the POI file within a specific folder structure
Place the poi Excel file within folder as marked with red line, and with title exactly as shown.
That folder needs to be nested within another folder, as marked in green, and title exactly as shown.

Obviously POI warnings needs to be enabled within your Connect system.

I use the built in system that shows you the speed limit on the map, and warns you if you are over the speed limit.

Thanks both...l'll give that download a try. The obvious answer of course is never speed....lm still working towards that level of rightiousness

Take a look at this attachment with regard to “Safety Camera’s” and you will see why they are not used here (Germany) , ours were removed during an upgrade - Dave

Thinking of getting this for my qq 2011, which i presume is a different update even if my satnav is upto date? Once registered, where are the links for the latest downloads, and is it just speed cameras you can download?
