Leaving dog inside car

Sometimes I have the dog in the car.
Is there a way of disabling the alarm system to enable me to lock the car without the dog setting it off?

Press the button on the interior light surround - it's all detailed in the manual - pages 3-12 > 3.13 in my copy

Nissan did away with quite a few of the physical buttons on the J11B, including ones for the alarm system and disabling the parking sensors. You have to find the relevant commands in the vehicle information display, accessed from the steering wheel.

Sorry - I saw 2017 and thought pre-facelift for that date... Must still be in the manual though
