My car is now out of warranty but I won't need to pay for the update as I reported the issue a long time before my warranty expired.
Had the update done yesterday afternoon, the radio cut out 4 times on the way to the dealership and not at all on the way back. This is the 3rd update and I usually phone from them my car on the way home to tell them it hasn't worked. All good so far....

Up to press I've only had drop outs on the DAB for a split second or so, which I put down to being normal for DAB, I've never had a 20/30 second drop out or a full reboot, so is the latest update something I should be chasing up with the dealer?

Emailed Nissan yesterday as despite then asking for my address a couple of weeks ago I've not heard anything since.

Lets see what they say....

Press and hold SETUP whilst turning it left, right, left. Or is it right, left, right? May take a few attempts. It's the knob on the right you need to turn.

Mine used to work all the time, now usually takes it a few attempts to register.

Interesting. My 2013 has been suffering from the Connect unit rebooting constantly. Took it into my dealer this morning as instructed by Nissan UK for the temporary fix. The guy there said the know issue was only affecting newer models and that the software verion on mine wasn't inpacted. does any ione with a 2013 or a smilar age model have any confirmation fron Nissan UK that these age models are impacted or indeed has had the 'fix' applied successfully at their dealership

thanks

2016 digt 1.2. now have the letter from Nissan - quite well phrased . says the issue is software and the problem was "a change and increase in the signal data management of UK DAB broadcasters". sounds dubious to me but at least they have accepted responsibility and made it clear that the update will be done at no charge irrespective of warranty (mine is expired). However getting a dealer to actually carry out Nissan's instruction is proving much more difficult! I wonder if there is a dispute between N and the dealers over what the dealers get paid for doing this. Can anyone please name a dealer within reach of SW London / Heathrow / Guildford who is willing to do it?
