Hi, I am about to get a new Qashqai, and I have a question about the Aux input.
At the moment my current car has 2 USB port so i have a hard drive with music and a phone attached (Iphone for Apple Car Play).
On teh Qashqai it only ahs 1 USB so if I get a generic MP3 player ro store my music on will the steering wheel controls ( forward / back etc) work with the music i store on the device, so I can use the USB for my phone.

If your apple music library is on your phone (as mine is) you can plug the iPhone into the usb and listen to the music and charge at the same time.
The steering wheel buttons will work.
My iPhone also plays my music through Bluetooth.
Failing that there are two power outlets (one in the dash and one in the armrest) for charging your phone.

I don't think QQ comes with apple car play, but I'm a little behind on "what's new" on the QQ

A new Qashqai should come with Carplay and Android Auto
