Speedlock « issue » ?

Hi guys!

I could use your help on a small problem. Yesterday I prepared my car for the upcoming snowboard holiday and I removed and placed back the speedlock. Now when driving off the car locks and all the windows close. Not sure if this worked like this before as well and it isn’t a huge problem but I found it quite awkward anyway.

For those who have both speed lock and windows closer module as well: do you experience this feature as well?

I have the speedlock and window closing modules and I can confirm that the lock command doesn't affect the window closer when driving off. Do the windows close if you manually activate the door locks with the engine running?

It did get me thinking though, because unless the designer of the window closer has thought things through properly, then locking the doors would indeed cause the windows to roll up!

Not really.
The windows closer is linked to the mirror folding and they don't fold when driving off

On my J11 I have an aftermarket module that makes sure all the windows roll up on locking, the trigger is a lock command, I know because I wired it myself

And you control it with the keyfob or doorbuttons indeed but as you should recall you also used the mirror connection that you wired to the module. When those fold the windows go up.
