Thought it worth sharing this with other owners, better to be aware than not.
Twice now my emergency braking system has kicked in incorrectly in similar scenarios. Once resulted in brakes being activated, once was just the alert only.
Driving along a road that gently curves in one direction or another, when it comes across a pedestrian island or similar with bollards or lights it seems to sometimes mistake that setup as being another vehicle or maybe a pedestrian?
Fortunately I wasn't being followed at the time the brakes were applied.
Another minor bug i have seen is in the new Connect Evo unit where you can customise the display content. One one of the screens you can place a shortcut to, for example, DAB, but when you restart the car that shortcut has been removed. It seems to remove any such shortcut you place in the bottom right corner.
Anyway, that aside its a fantastic car and I'm struggling to contain myself whilst the engine beds in. The new engine is the dogs doodahs.

Only 2 weeks in, a bit soon to tell... but 34 so far, mixed town drives, nothing longer than 20 miles.Red Rooster wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 9:24 am Glad you are liking it, looking to get mine in September. What mpg you getting or too early to tell?

Just got my second qashqai. Gone down from 16 tekna to 68 acenta premium. Very happy with it, extra horsepower certainly good. But I do miss my leather seats. Also like the new info system. But, like the original poster, I have noticed that DAB shortcut app disappears after restart. This is really annoying as this is the one shortcut I'm most likely to use. Mrs likes local FM station, I listen to Talk Sport. I have played about with a number of shortcuts and all seem to remain apart from DAB one. It doesn't matter where I place it, or on which screen it I put it on, it always disappears. Does anyone think this can be fixed? Or, anyone found a way of making it stick.
One other question while I'm on. Can you get Talk Radio on DAB? It's not on the list of stations and I have tried refreshing? Again, any thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers.

These are transmitted signals so perhaps do vary by transmItter.
I do believe the list I see now is actually bigger than the list I 1st saw when I got the car so it must rescan by itself. My car was also shipped in from another part of the country which perhaps confirms the regional aspect of these stations.

Just noticed that ESP is shown twice in the Settings panel too. Once on the main page then again via Driver Assistance/Driving Aids.

Another one, if you do a selective map update, eg only update UK maps, the system info page fails to report the map version info as presumably you have data from 2 different versions installed.
