Hi
Just taken a new 2019 reg Acenta. The issue I have is the parking sensor volume, I have it set on max but it’s so quite that with the radio on you can’t hear the beeps. On other cars I have had which where a polo a c5 a Mokka X they were all very loud and clear. Should I return to the dealers with this issue or is a fix?
Parking sensor volume almost too quite on max

Welcome
I don't have experience of a J11b and haven't yet found a downloadable users manual.

Sorry - I've just realised you've already found the setting menu. Sounds like your car has an issue - so yes bring it up with the dealer.

I agree, they should be quite audible even with the radio on. I also checked, the only setting to affuect the volume is the one under Driver Aids in the settings menu in small display in front of the steering wheel.
Are you getting the on screen alerts re parking sensors? Ie are you sure they're actually working?

The Sensors do work, and they do display in the driver's binnacle, and the sound is there but as I said it's so low that it's almost inaudible, so I will take it back to the dealers on Monday and let them fix it.
thanks all

My sister in law has a new 2019 qashqai and she noticed the exact same problem, she asked the dealer when she went back to have a spare wheel fitted and he agreed that it was very low but could not find any fix for it. He told her he could take the car in and have it checked but she declined as he basically said there was no guarantee it was an actual problem or it was the way the car is built.

UPDATE
Well after waiting till Chesterfield Nissan had a Master tech (others left for reasons unknown) they took the vehicle in, stated it was too quiet, contacted Nissan (they say) and exchanged the unit, only to find its the same, after speaking back with Nissan UK (they say) they were told by Nissan its by design, and its normal. I disagree because sat on their forecourt an exact same model & colour its beeper you can definitely hear good and loud, I feel that Bristol Street Motors have railroaded the issue.
