Have you tried a suppressor at both ends of the cable?

No,not yet not had one supplied by nextbase, rang them today and they were at a loss, they are sending 2 more to me but thought I would ask on here,in case it’s something to do with the routing or other issues members have had.

Did have a look at that but the camera is different to mine,so wondering if it’s just a nextbase issue.

Mine is the same, running a 522GW and the round rear camera, I only noticed it today after reading this thread.

I contacted Nextbase tonight and they are sending out a couple of Ferrite sleeves, going to attach one by the rear camera and go from there.

They are sending me out some as well,I don’t hold out any hope this will work,I reckon it could be an issue with the qashqai and the rear camera, out of interest weasel where does your rear camera cable run.mine goes from wind screen, down the left hand side of the car looking from rear at roof level and then thorough the rubber gland that connects to the boot and onto the window.

Hi Steveob...my rear camera cable is running under the headlining at the front and down the sides tucked under the headlining, internal rubber door seals and plastic trims on the door pillars, and then under the rear quarter plastic trim to the boot rubber seal and then out to the camera.

As it happens I have found a Ferrite Sleeve in a Hardwire Kit and just fitted it to the short rear camera cable ( the one that's attached to the camera ) and the DAB worked perfectly for the 5 minutes I was in the car with both dash cams running, the real test will be when I'm driving in the morning, so we'll see how it goes and I'll report back.

If it's still not working as I'm driving I'll fix a Ferrite Sleeve to the front of the cable that plugs into the camera, just like the one on the forward facing camera.

Hi Weasel, what side is it running down, drivers or passengers side,I tried the one ferrite sleeve that came with the camera and I still had the same issue.

Both my cables are running down the passenger side.

Front facing camera with the Ferrite sleeve next to the camera is plugged into the 12v socket under the armrest.

And the rear camera as above.

From what I have read the Ferrite sleeves have to be as close to the cameras as possible, hence Nextbase putting the one for the front facing camera right next to the plug, so that was my thinking with placing the rear Ferrite sleeve right next to the rear camera.
