POI alert volume

Hi calnorth, unfortunately its voice guidance, it only adjusts the volume of the command to turn right, left etc.

Is that the same unit as in the video I posted above? I'm going to check it on mine again...it is a bit quirky I know

Hi Calnorth yes it is. If you press the volume up it changes the volume of the command and nothing else.

I'll check mine later...I seem to remember its a bit of a weird sequence to get to the Vol control and stuff page. I was often surprised at its sudden appearance when button fiddling.

Update:

If you have a Vol control under Voice Guidance selector I think thats the same volume for POI's. Mines at 10 and not too loud. And that Voice can be controlled on the steering wheel as well when under Nav

If you have Voice Control OFF I expect that POI vol is OFF also.

If I am not using Nav guidance I don't get Voice but POI's beep

I think POI's have to be enabled also....apart from just loading them.

Bit of a fiddle about in general.
