My new QQ climate control doesn't seem to work very well.
In previous cars I have had this set on "Auto" and normally left it alone to do its job. If the setting was changed the system reacted quickly and the temperature would change quite smartly.
In this (two month old) car I have noticed that you can make quite big setting changes and there isn't much reaction. The temperature changes but only very very slowly. The fan doesn't seem to move from two notches until you hit Lo when it all goes to full speed fan and freezing cold.
I've had the setting from 22 down to 18 just to try to achieve a similar inside temperature, even on quite long runs.
I would be interested to hear from others about their opinions about how well your climate control works before I mention this to my dealer as a warranty claim.

I would suggest keeping a thermometer in the car - that way you can be sure about what is happening.
It might be that any daylight streaming into the car is coincidentally warming it up.
You are asking the car for 22C and nothing much is happening because it’s already at 22C - just a thought

Foffer, as you appear to have the new QQ J11B and as always I would recommend taking it to your Dealer and getting it checked out under Guarantee, if you are unhappy let them check and fix it.
A few years back we had also big problems but in the end it turned out to be the dreaded Condenser problem, but hopefully Nissan have this sorted now. Our Set comes on @ 22C, but we always have the AC ON. Most of the time we play with the buttons as needed usually down to around 19C and then adjust the setting / speed as we require. I must admit that we are pretty happy, but you might well have another, this most probably is of no help but get it checked out - Dave

It certainly does go full blow immediately if you turn it to LO. I suspect that is a requirement of Defog. Anything else above that is dependant on internal environment standing temperature. If its not as cold as you think it could be... goto the dealer. They'll have a digital thermometer to check vent output temperatures.

Thanks all. As suggested, I think a visit to the dealer is called for. Once I get an answer I'll get back on here and let you know how I get on.

Never had a temperature control issue with mine. "Set it and forget it!"

Did you ever get this sorted? I am having a very similar issue with my 2019 Qashqai.
