so i have been lurking looking through the forum looking to see if my fault has been mentioned or fixed before. i have seen a few posts referencing it but cant find a fix.
i have a 62 plate QQ+2. i hvae owned it for about 3 years. and every year since owning when it starts to get cold we have a start stop system fault that eventually ends in a dead battery. The garage i bought it from now wants nothing to do with the car and will no longer replace the battery and is not willing to look at the car even though there is an obvious fault. (as i have been telling them since i purchased it) we have been through 4 batteries in 3 years and each year a larger capacity battery has been installed.
now the weather has started to drop the start stop system fault has returned. it wont be long i expect till the battery dies again.
There is a local electrical specialist who can look at the car but the cost is quite astronomical.
Does anyone have any insight in to what a potential fix could be?
