Hi all, first time poster. UK

We have a 2017 Qashqai 1.2 which we have had since new on 1st March 2017. Now three years old and 6 days out of warranty and typically now have an issue.

Front passenger window no longer works.

From drivers seat, drivers window and both rear windows work. When fully up, if you pull up on switch you here the click of the motor from the window.

Front passenger window gets nothing at all either from drivers or passenger switch.

We have pressed the depressed the window lock function but it is just one window not working.

I was hoping fuse but from what I can work out you wouldn't just lose one window. As there is no noise from the window at all could it be motor?

Options, ideas, manuals and part codes welcome.....!!!

Not looked at the diagrams fully but attached is the Power Windows document that may help? Its of US origin so may not be accurate... I'd expect each motor to be fused:

Superb document. Disconnected battery and followed the document, just taking everything to pieces gently and seeing what was what.

Nothing obviously wrong so reconnected everything and ensuring safe connected battery and window now works from both passenger and drivers side.

So either a loose connection or disconnecting battery has reset something. Do these windows have thermal cut outs??

But anyway thanks for the document.

Don't know about thermal cut out? You'd expect that to recover if present. Need to examine the wiring diags closely.

Probably connections and where I'd dab the pins with a bit of WD40...when I have a can of it.
