I bought the car about 2 months ago and really happy with it. I live in Dublin so steering is on the right. It is the basic Visia version and had no front fog lights installed. Instead there were caps covering the 2 holes in the front. There were also standard power connectors taped on the inside. So the car seemed to be pre-wired for front fog lights. The relevant switch to activate them was missing from the console (right side of steering and lower).
I decided to purchase a low cost compatible fog lights kit from eBay. It was from China and cost me only €50. Included everything: lights, chrome covers, all wiring, fuse, relee and even a switch. I installed them myself using just a couple of screwdrivers to remove the small plastic covers under the front bumper and the plastic pieces inside the wheel arches. Then if you turn the wheel to the opposite direction (right wheel to the left) you can access the back of the holes and screw the fog lights in. As I mentioned the connectors were just taped beside so I just plugged them at the back. Fitted perfectly! Lights installed looking great!
However the problem is that they don't work! I removed the plastic cover under the steering, installed the switch, however I could not find the relevant green connector conveniently taped there as i did in the front!
I am very disappointed because I have the full wires, however I have no idea how to connect the fog lights to the battery, the fuse box, ground them and then pass the cables into the cabin to connect them to the switch. I don't have the electrical knowledge to do that. I thought it was just going to be a matter of plugging the connectors.
I am wondering if anyone here can help...any ideas?

Welcome to this forum.

The standard fog lights are controlled from the left hand stalk, the "combination switch" in the PDF diagram - hence I'm not surprised you didn't find the wiring in the dash.

You'll have to wire them up separately. Note that although it appears that front fog lights don't require a warning light for MoT purposes it would be useful to install one if there's not already one integrated into the switch,

It is possible that if you acquire the correct stalk it might, I repeat might, work the lights. Absolutely no guarantee though.

However would you have the ability to fit this:

Thank you very much for your reply and the link to the stalk, I didn't know you could buy that separately! A bit expensive but the best solution.
