Hi incipient, i've got the same new unit and hooking it up to my bench power supply, the screen does not work. I connected the pint 19 and 20 to 12v, i can see the power draw but nothing happends on the display. Is this expected and i need to wire additional ACC or ilumination, or is my unit faulty? Any pointers?

I've got a 2018 Tekna with bose, 360 cameras & Park assists.
I've seen 2 different types of the head unit, one has a 'P' next to the camera button and one doesn't

After months of waiting for a firmware upgrade and frustration with no voice control or CarPlay I’m going to try this route.
I’ve bought a 2019 head unit ready to fit.
How do I get a patch cable from a 2017 sat nav head unit to a new 2019 head unit.
Where do I look, anybody have the diagrams.
What do I need the dealer to do, what recording is required.
This has been done before by some brave and adventurous people. It seems the best way forward.

I’d seen that thread and video but thought the system looked very ‘busy’ and slow to start.
Possibly a different theme or skin could improve the look.
I was hoping to stick with the Nissan hence the 2019 head unit.
