I was just going to ask exactly the same question until I came across this topic on the forum.

When I go into the "Vehicle Settings" I don't have any "Alarm" options either.

The spec list for the Tekna+ on the Nissan website only mentions a "Thatcham Alarm System", there's no mention of "Internal Motion Sensors" at all.

Regards, Chris.

You can obviously test it by locking someone in the car, waiting for the alarm to arm, then asking them to move. Saw a granny in Tescos car park once like that!

I'll give it a try tomorrow, I take it the alarm turns itself off when I unlock the car?

That's clearly the easiest way to check. Much the same as when we get in the fridge to see if the light goes out.😃

Well, I 'locked' the wife inside my QQ today and then got her to move about, there are no internal motion sensors fitted.

Regards, Chris.

....I must just add that I did let her out

Related to this, I have had over the last few days the alarm going off randomly much later after I had left the car locked, thinking I would be expecting an expensive trip to dealer, I did a search on here and found another thread that mentioned Moths setting it off, I must admit I was a little sceptical of that, but now at the weekend with some time on my hands was walking to car as I was going to switch off sensors and see if that made any difference over next day or so, but guess what I should see sitting there on the top passenger door interior by the Window edge, but the biggest Moth ever. So after a quick Moth flick :D later then no problems since.

Hello and good morning!

On Tuesday, I purchased the latest QQ Acenta C-Look version. I can confirm that until now this ''issue'' is still present. The official Nissan dealership here informed me that the factory alarm has been installed on the model and as a curious buyer I tried to set it off in order to become familiar with the alarm sound.

Unfortunalety I was unable to do so. I locked the car and left a window open in order to check the motion sensors but after waving my hand inside nothing happened. I did every update and read all manuals but could not locate an alarm menu as the manuals designated. Furthermore I even locked myself inside and started jumping on the car seat, and nothing happened.

Tha factory alarm, without the sensors, is set off after a) opening the door without the NATS key b) you start the car without the the NATS key c)when you open the hood with the car locked, which in my opinion it is too late to set it off.

The manuals states that the alarm is on after 20 seconds from locking , today I will leave the window open and lock it, let the designated time to pass and open the door from the handle to check if there is actually an alarm on my car :D

Did you guys find a solution until now? Any official feedback from Nissan UK?
