Rear indicator and brake light

When it stops raining I'll try to get some wire and give it a alternative earth and see if that helps.

It's weird while testing the bugger at the light getting ready to hook up another earth it just fixed itself... Definitely going to a electrician if it happens again lol

3 years old, I know... but I've got this problem too.
The indicator relay clicks faster, pointing to a bulb out.
I put the hazards on and the nearside indicator is out but when the break pedal is pressed, the brake light indicates in time with the other indicator bulbs...very strange.
I was thinking the clue might be...
the rain, wet plugs/wire/contacts or something. I have the usual misted up rear nearside unit and I have the infamous boot leak too
I'm going to change the bulbs once delivered to both brake and indicator but I just have this sneaky feeling that it might remain.
I can only hope I have the same luck as the gentleman who posted this problem originally...well see.
