When I took it in they said I need to be updated to the latest version. Do you know what version is the latest and how to update? It just stays on "downloading" no indication of size/time etc like with maps.

I download my updates from my home WiFi whilst the car is on the drive.
No idea what version I am on but assume it’s the latest.P - because I haven’t been offered an update
The Memsahib gets her software updates (2019 Micra Tekna) from the dealership because she refuses to type the WiFi password into her connect unit.
I'm guessing this is why her android auto doesn’t connect.
But, she has a service booked for tomorrow.

I assume that if you go into the dealer they should be able to diagnose ant errors which occurs with your connect system.

So...despite indications on the Nissan box (ICE) the phone is charging ok on USB plug-in.

Important....can you upload any type of file on to the ICE box by USB rather than WIFI/BT. And will music play via USB Stick for instance? Need to know if there is continuity of the USB data wires from USB socket to ICE box internals. After that its the USB Host Controllers ability to detect a device on the USB input and apply a driver.

Can you check through all of Googles Support list here. Those of relevance that is.

My Android Auto app isn't working

Does the Nissan ICE box have any kind of settings/setup menu as vid below? This one definitely shows something about USB auto detect.

Wondering exactly what settings the ICE Box defaults to....?

Also, a menu somewhere should tell you what the firmware version is....so you could call Nissan and find out anything of relevance:
