Hi
My wipers stopped working last week, I sent to garage and they changed the motor and linkage but still nothing, im now £300 down and still no wipers, any help would be great. I have changed fuse in engine for wipers not sure if there is another fuse?

Its difficult to diagnose from a distance. You had the motor changed with no success, so you will have test the wiper control system apart from motor. Probably by a Nissan dealer.

Did the newer motor work anyway?

I had a 10 plate QQ and mine stopped working. When I switched them off while stopped, I could hear the motor working but the arms didn't budge. rac came out and it turned out to be the link between the two arms. He said it was a common QQ issue and repaired it, but I had no idea what he actually did. He did point out that the link had been worked on before as he could see that the arm linking the two arms had wires wound around them which was a bit of a tell-tale sign.

You didn't test them when you picked the car up? But still paid them £300? Really? What did you ask them to do in the first place?
