I had similar ones to the ones illustrated above - which I fitted since my ex-hire car had some minimal scratching there. I didn't find any which went further - and can't remember now whether they would interfere with sealing rubbers on the door frame. Mine came from Amazon (£27.99 - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00VM7FZGY), were stainless steel, and following others' advice I filed the edges down prior to using the supplied adhesive strips to fit, to mitigate paint scratching. I left them in place when I sold the car.

Buffy, I think this is what you are looking for and these Stainless Steel Sill Plates are available from Autohaus Günther in Germany / shop@automobile-guenther.de / 00494066907-0 - they look good Dave 😏🙏

They look a good buy and if interested give them a call or drop an email, normally English is no problem. But there could be a problem with “Customs” due to the Brexit / EU problems believe it or not.😩

One of my current projects is fitting one of these to the front of my qashqai for two reasons one to help protect the air conditioning condenser from stones but also for when needed for the school run on a cold day.

Bonnet struts....done........well worth it and makes opening the hefty bonnet a breeze. I noticed the 2022 new Qashqai's bonnet isn't metal anymore, so the sale of bonnet strut kits will decrease.

Could you please share a link to the shop where you bought those?

Nissan has reduced the weight of the car’s body in “White” by 60kg. Contributing to this is the use of composite materials for the bootlid and fuel cap, while using aluminium for the front / rear doors / front wings and bonnet has saved 21kg.

Just to explain if unknown : “Body in white (BIW) is the stage in automobile manufacturing in which a car body's frame has been joined together, that is before painting and before the motor, chassis sub-assemblies, or trim (glass, door locks/handles, seats, upholstery, electronics, etc.) have been integrated into the structure.”

The use of Struts might still be a worthwhile addition especially for women owners - Dave 😏

Kopros,
Here is the updated item number................................ eBay item number:233522564909. There are loads of these around. Make sure you give the piston a few pumps manually before you install, which can be quite stiff at first.
The strap is for a removable nut for cars that have a different fitment. I did not need this strap on my 2020 car.
The bonnet is now easy to open and has made a big difference. You don't need to use the bonnet stay anymore as the bonnets stays up on it's own.
