Can anyone help me regarding getting accessory cables from the engine bay through to the cabin without major surgery to either vehicle or myself on a 2020 Qashqai ST+ (Australian) Thanks in anticipation

Hi, not sure neither but I think it will be.
The battery, air filter housing and the fusebox are situated on the same place, no? You should also be able to see the cables coming in from the inside as I show in the video.

So , have you cut a slice in the grommet and pushed the cables through , rather than stretch the existing molded hole in the grommet to feed the small cables through ?
I would do the latter and put some sealant where the cables contact the main loom - or find a live and earth from the fuse box !

The grommet is way to tough and the acces to hard in order to stretch. But if it is only to have a life feed you should have said so

The reason I wanted to get a cable through was to run a DC-DC auxiliary battery charger which I have set up to charge a 100 amp AGM battery which runs my 12 volt camping fridge, this charger pulls a maximum of 20amps and on previous vehicles I have run a line direct from the vehicle battery through a 50 amp fuse. This DC/DC charger senses when there is no charge going into the vehicle battery and shuts down, leaving the auxiliary battery to run the fridge with no chance of it running the vehicle battery flat. I still don't think the wiring to the spare 20 amp spare fuse would be heavy enough to run this charger. Your thoughts would be most helpful. Thanks in anticipation.

I'll hand this over the the experts here as well but I don't think it make sense to wire your set up with a 50A fuse through a 20A fuse...
