This is exactly what I wanted to hear thank you! :) I was hoping it was possible without taking the whole console off but wasn’t sure as I didn’t check the screws when I went to view it. Thanks again
If I remember correctly, there is a small rectangular plastic cover that you pull off to gain access to three philips head screws, if you lift the armrest complete with the tray under it, you will see the cover that I'm referring to. In fact I remember that this cover was extremely loose and caused the odd rattle, cured it with a few strips of adhesive felt tape.
Usually lots on FleaBay, pick and choose the best if you're in no rush. I picked a leather one up along with four door cards with the leather armrests as an upgrade for Mrs Qashqai, I received a few 'beer tokens' for doing this too which I gladly redeemed :D
Thanks for the detailed info, if the marks are still noticeable when it comes back from the dealer I will definitely be giving this a go. Funny you mention door cards as that was another thing I was curious about possibly changing. In the back, passenger side directly below the window there is some sort of a stain/spill you can only really see it when the light hits it to be honest so I could live with it. But yeah, good to know these can be changed also - are they relatively straight forward to change?

Door cards are relatively easy to swap. If you decide to go down this route drop me a pm and I'll talk you through it.

Re the door cards when i got the car from the dealers they had done such a good job on the cleaning those spill marks I mentioned were no longer visible at all so I was very happy. Will drop you a pm if I do ever change in the future, thanks.

Door linings can make a dramatic difference to a car.

When I had my Fabia vRS I had the door cards retrimmed in blue leather to match the retrimmed seats:

If I ever buy a new Qashqai I'd have to have a Tekna in order to get the great alternative interior only available for that model:
