Hi has anyone experienced rain water not draining away from the bottom nearside of the windscreen? it seems to to pool on top of the plastic trim covering the wiper spindles when parked with the nearside slightly lower, my drive is not perfectly flat.

Have a good dig round the wiper spindles, you'll have muck stopping it drain through and away

Good point from Pandjh. I tend to steal the wife’s Wooden Sticks she uses for cooking and use the pointed end to get at the debris which does tend to clog. I also clean up with a few “Q Tips” the old plastic type. I generally do it on a weekly basis if there are leaves flying around - Dave

Thanks for your prompt replies, I have checked around the wiper spindles and poured water around them and it drains away ok
Both spindles are situated on the off side and the water pools on the nearside.
It appears that there is no drainage on this side and I am concerned about what can happen in freezing conditions.

When parked on the level, water poured on to the windscreen on the passenger side, drops down to the gutter which is angled to take it to the centre of the car where it drains down the sides of the passenger side windscreen wiper spindle and eventually on to the floor beneath the car. If the car is not parked on the level and water collects here and freezes I can't see it causing any issues tbh.
