honestly feel your pain mate as it happened to me two weeks ago too...http://www.qashqaiownersclub.co.uk/foru ... 16.htmlwas fuming and it was all down my drivers door from a bay park....have tried all sorts to cover...ie wax, polish....the lot...eventually have just had to get that particular panel resprayed myself....and has cost me £130 plus vat.....i was quoted over £250 by some mechanics but luckily found one in my home town who did for reasonable price and looks like new again....sorry once again mate

Possibly me, as I have one on shelf. This product highly recommended for scratches of clear coat;http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NO-1-Farecla- ... 1314003045 video:[TUBE"]]ZIQ8YE-1XGg[/TUBE"]] [TUBE"]]ka2s7w4ifhQ[/TUBE"]]

Little tip - If its just the lacquer - Get some 1500 grade wet and dry paper - wet flat a small test area ( 2 inch ) with water on the paper and small amount of soap . rub down with a block so don't rub a grove . get some rubbing compound and mix wit t-cut and clean in circular motion . then wipe off . then t-cut on its own again ( no compound this time ) clean . then a high build wax . What happens is these scratches look a lot worse than they are because the lacquer is clear and when scratched it looks white . The above may not fix 100% but will dilute the effect . It takes time so may be a little and often . hope it helps .
