We got ours end the end of November. Nearly ended up with a pre-July model until I asked the question about the mirrors. I don't think you'll get any info out of the manual. It will only say "where fitted" or similar.A good visual clue is on the bulkhead, to the right of the steering wheel is a switch to turn off the 'lane departure warning". If this isn't there then the folding mirrors won't be either; they were part of the same upgrade.

Is it wise to switch off folding mirrors during freezing weather conditions, or is mechanics of them built to withstand the frost? It seems there is more work done to get them to unfold on very cold frosty days? I might just leave mine off January and February to avoid damage...

We had a 2014 QQ J11A which did not have the Auto Folding Mirrors as Std. so we had a Nissan Kit Installed which worked perfectly. At that time there were “Accessory” Kits around from other Suppliers also. After 5 years we never had a problem with the Folding Mirrors and with Frost I always turned them OFF to stay OPEN as here we do get cold weather. The Mirror mechanics and plastic parts do make “Crunching” noises when Frosty on opening - Dave 😏
