Unlikely they'll have on shelf- might be wise to pre warn them- send them a snap even.

Not in a hurry so prepared to wait.

My Qasqai is under 2yrs old.
The roof rail cap were replaced during year 1.
Yet again they have deteriorated. Dealer notified.
This must be a manufacturing fault.

My 4th set of replacements have lasted so far; this fault must have cost Nissan
or their cap manufacturers hundreds of thousands.

Early on at my first end cap change, they also had to remove roof lining as the
procedure then was to change whole roof rail. Current procedure will be much cheaper for them

I asked my dealer if I could have faulty ones back, so I could get a paint shop to refurbish, but they have
to send old ones back to Nissan.

Glad I saw this post as just spotted the same on my 2016 QQ, will have to try and find time to get in touch with the dealer!

Any idea's how long it takes for Nissan to agree for the rail ends to be replaced? Been a week now heard nothing.

Just under 5,000 mls second service today major one + air con service and roof end caps replaced + map updated by Westway Nissan / Nissan warranty thank you both.Happy chappy glass of red me thinks.

In Jun 15 we had the Complete Roof Rails & Caps replaced due to this Crazing effect. QQ is now 4,7 years old, out of Guarantee and in the Sunshine today saw the Crazing again. Looks like I need to buy a new QQ - Dave
