After having problems finding a good touch up paint for my Storm White QQ I came across the following who offer larger quantities of true matching pearl paint.Hi Jon,The paint code is QAB for Storm White Your colour is a 3 stage application which means you will need
two individual pots of colour followed by the clear coat lacquer. There is a base white, then the pearl coat and lastly the clear. If you order Kit 3 we will send all 3 items required.Hope this helps?Kind regards,Rob ParkerRefinish Systems Ltde: sales@refinishsystems.com

I have noted from other Nissan forums the problem of matching Storm White with the Nissan products, they say Nissan only sell a two part system which is pearl white and gloss. You need to put a white base coat first, followed by the white pearl and finally the clear coat gloss to get a match. I have had similar problems in the past with manufacturers touch ups that do not match. A specialist paint supplier will always ensure you get a perfect blend

Hi. I know this an old post that I'm resurrecting, but has anyone found a best match for the QAB Pearlescent Storm White ?

I've got a couple of scuff marks on my sills, as my new car is an ex-demo, which will be covered up with sill protectors in the near future. I just wanted to practise for the inevitable stone chips in the future. I have tried Halfords Nissan Pearl White Scratch and Chip Repair Kit 324838, which does say that it is for QAB paint, but it seems more pearl grey than pearl white.

Anyone got any options that have worked for them ?

Alan, looks like the paint you bought has a special procedure when applying it, is this how you applied it, I am not being negative on this but you mentioned a color problem. There is also from Halfords a QAB Spray Can you could try, does not appear to be that expensive as a try out.
I had a QAB QQ for 5 years and bought the Nissan Touch Up Paint when New and it met it’s requirements - Good Luck Dave 😉

Thanks Dave, you could be right. Maybe I rushed the process a bit, wanting to get a result over a busy weekend. I also think the special tool is a bit too small for blending anything bigger than a couple of millimetres. Not quite rough enough either as using some 1500 grade wet and dry with light finger pressure has blended the excess pearl grey effect away and left a decent enough finish.

Hi Alan, if you have not decided on what Sill Protection you are going to use then take a look here inc the attachments. There is the expensive stuff like Nissan (which we have), AliExpress and all over the Websites, Alu, Folie etc.... - might help Dave 😊
The Nissan Illuminated Sill Protectors we had installed on the new J11B are supplied only as Fronts now so our Dealer ordered some Rear ones FOC :

Hi Dave. I did debate on going for the illuminated official Nissan ones or alternates from AliExpress, but instead I've kept it simple and gone for ones from Lockwood in UK which wrap over the edge like your rear ones do.

I do like yours, and you never know, maybe I'll change them in the future. Thanks, Alan

Searching for 1-2 months for a touch up paint (in case that i need it) for my QQ e-power burgundy (color code: NBQ), i find this in ebay:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144007393609 ... SwFYBkIYuC

Seems that is o.k., but i wonder if it's the original touch up paint of Nissan. In Nissan's site acccessories,i didn't find something similar for burgundy color and the dealership here in Greece, told me that until now there isn't any information about this.
