Early this year I asked richard_cr1032 (in Singapore) for some information - Thanks again Richard !. The parts concerned were Stainless Steel Door Lock Covers which I ordered from PRC. The cost was only €3,83 (£3) inc postage but the delivery took 57 days from the order date, not impressive. I received the parts today, degreased the locks, installed the Covers naturally with 3M tape, job done in 5 mins. Actually for the cost the parts are very good and improve the appearance of the lock area, IMHO a worthwhile addition - Dave

Hi gvmdaddy, give this address a try there are several suppliers if you spend time looking, delivery was defintely not up to much, but if time is not a problem I would recommend a Set - Dave

Being less of a bling person, I just got black plastic covers. Same for the door check straps.

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread but without this forum and this thread I would never ever have known about door lock covers.

Fitted mine earlier on this morning.

I disassembled mine from the old QQ and installed them on the New one, no problems at all. They just seem to make the Area a little cleaner - Good Job Dave

Got them as well in this QQ. Recently I went to the dealer for a annoying vibration in the left door coming from the drivers window.
The dealer asked me to follow him in the workshop (never happened before) to take a look. They had "found" the issue. It came from my doorcaps as shown here.... Right yeah... please take them of and retry I told them, as the issue was there way before placing the doorcaps. And of course the vibration was still present.
Appeared to be this metallic part itself that was deformed a bit.

Mike, I do not want to jump in here but I have not seen Hound on the Forum for some time now, hopefully all is well with him. You can get these from Amazon or AliExpress, take a note of the price difference - See Attachments - Dave
