folding mirrors

first post picking up qq 1.5 diesel sv premium 2016 on wednesday only question for now is do the wing mirrors fold open / close with the key or button on the door only

If its the same as the Tekna, both, or can be turned off in the settings.

Craig, as gvmdaddy has mentioned it does look like your SV Premium has Auto Folding Door Mirrors and can be turned OFF - Dave

Minor concern. On one occasion recently the mirrors didn't move when I turned on the ignition, so I had to operate them with the manual switch. Don't know why? Any ideas are welcome

If you retracted them manually, then turned the ignition off then back on, then they wont automatically re open.

I guess this is a deliberate feature. If you retract the mirrors in order to park in a very narrow space, perhaps with the passenger side against a garage wall, you wouldn't want them to open up automatically when you switched on would you?
