Dear all,
I am new to this forum as I have only just recently purchased my Qashqai. I have a number of problems with it that are hard to trace.
The one I am dealing with at the moment is a leak in the boot area on the right hand side where it dips in for storage of a bottle or something.
This only seems to happen when it rains and does not seem to be coming from the rear window wash feed. It does not seem a lot of water but enough to saturate the carpet area in a 3-4" circle.
Does anyone have any Ideas where this could be coming from please?

Thanks

Hi

Did you ever get this sorted?

I've got the exact same issue, water pooling under the boot carpet on the offside

Thanks

Check the integrity of the seal at the base of the radio ariel on the roof.

I've already cleaned the drains, checked the rubbers around the trunk lid, applied silicone to the brake light on top of the lid, sealed the car's connection leads with the trunk lid...

Did you check the rubber grommet where the cables go on the nearside and offside. These are notorious for letting water in on the Qashqai and X-Trail. As the rubber ages it shrinks.

Can someone point out where the drains are please, my headlining is soaking, so much so I had 50mm water in the where the spare tyre would be....btw, my J11 has factory fitted roofbars!
