Hello,
I'm new to this forum having recently purchased a 2011 quashqui +2,
I have noticed that the spare wheel well has filled up with water,
Any ideas what could be causing it.

Rain!
Check the wheel well for a possibly blocked up drain hole.

Ive got similar problem, kids complained that the rear seats in the +2 were wet.
Took spare wheel out and yes there was water in there (small pools, not totally covered), but for the life of me I cannot figure out how the seat and backrest of those two seats got wet!!!

Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi James.williams
Are you sure it’s water and not squashqui? 😀
It’s Qashqai 👍

I was making a joke of james’ original post (very late I know) sorry, I just hate it when I see Qashqai spelt incorrectly.
Now here is your advice - kids in the back, two wet seats, it’s not rocket science!!!! J
Oh and check the gasket around the high level brake light for the accumulation of water around the spare wheel.😁

Empty the boot completely and thoroughly dry it. Close the boot and use the rear wash/wipe. Give it a good go until your washer bottle runs dry. Now take a look back in the boot.
I had this issue on a previous vehicle and it turned out to be a disconnected hose to the rear jet.

Mark46 - thanks, but kids are grandkids and not been in the back for about 6 weeks, and seats were dry after that trip - so kids not to blame. Will check high level brake as suggested ;-) - cheers

gvmdaddy - thanks, will try that later - although I know the rear washer is working but could be a possible leak - cheers

Have a good New Year

Dave - one of the rear windows left open an inch or so in the rain, perhaps?
