Picking up my 2008 QQ soon. I am aware of a gouge on the front nearside (UK) plastic edge of the wheel arch.
I'm hoping to do this myself when I get the replacement part.
Is it an easy job ( just a few clips and a couple of injured fingers) , or is it the sort of job that needs a ramp, special tools, a degree in mechanics and some swearing?
If its reasonably easy, will I need any extra bits?
Thanks.

The wheelarch outer trim is mainly clipped in. From memory there is a single screw fix at one end. I believe you need a torx T20 screwdriver. You should be able to see it. If you don't have a torx head screwdriver you might be able to release with a flathead screwdriver. I recommend trying now. Best technique for removing trim is to get your hand behind and push on the clips themselves. Pretty quick job.
