Nearside Rear Seatbelt hard to plug in?

So this is a bit of an odd one, But here goes....

My daughter has a group 3 car seat, And it is really difficult to clip in the seatbelt each time.

It seems the buckle wants to disappear into the seat? The oar of belts the other side have a plastic holder between them, Should there be one on the nearside single buckle too?

Never had an issue before and it's that bad my daughter and partner cant really manage, It is absolutely ridiculous to be honest

I cannot just move here to the other side as my son is there and she gets more legroom being behind her mum!

Thanks in advance for any advice.

So I have just seen this post which confirms the position is normal....

Upon thinking about this more, It is obvious to me why they did this...To avoid buckle crunch. And the location would be the norm for a group 1 seat that stays fixed.

Would one of these help? ................https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2pcs-36cm-Ca ... SwzgBY2dvu.....................you could leave it in place all the time. I'd want to make sure it was a tested and approved item first though.
