Hi, I have a 2013 Qashqai 360 Dci. Have had the air con degassed today. The 2 vents on the drivers side are ice cold but the 2 vents on the passenger side blow warm air no matter what the setting. Have tried 'lo' and 'auto' but all I get is warm air on the passenger side. Garage who did the regas said this is weird and they are all connected and come from the same place. He said they have micro switches which if causing the issue would involve taking out part of the dash, long, complex and expensive. Has anyone else had this? Anyone know of a fix that doesn't involve taking the dash apart? Thanks in advance.

If it is indeed the micro switches then you’d better start saving up!

Pollen filter changed recently? Both heater controls must be on "Lo" before removing the actuator...

Yes it was changed last week by my local garage. Is actuator easy enough to get to?

Two screws. Fix could be, if you're lucky, to set both dials to "Hi", remove the actuator, and replace it. It is situated partly over the cover for the pollen filter. The cogs should then line up correctly. (if you're lucky...;) )

ok. Thank you very much for your help. Just so I’m clear. I need to remove the glove box, set both dials to LO, remove the actuator and then replace it?

Yes, that sounds right. Switch the ignition on once when the actuator is loose so the cogs line up right on refitting. This is my understanding of their working, the cogs on the heater are sprung to the hot setting. Hope it goes well.

Memory not what it used to be, I think both dials set to "Hi" is correct... I have edited previous posts. Hope that's correct. ;)

Hi,
I have a 360 qashqai which has something att’d to the top of the glove box.

I am wondering if anyone knows what it is as I am having trouble disconnecting it to allow me to take the glove box off to remove the actuator.

Many thanks !!!

Welcome to this forum

I'm confused - you say you have a Qashqai 360 but your right-hand signature suggests a J11 (Mark 2) and the 360 is a Mark 1 model.

I don't know the answer to your query but a photo might help people.
