Hi Forum,
Wife's Qasjqai has unfortunately driven through a puddle of bright pink paint!
Splashed all over the tyre, inside of wheel-arch, and on the outside wheel & door trim.
It's on the matt trim, which is my problem.
I've tried washing with cold water, warm water & warm soapy water.
I haven't used any abrasives or chemicals, as I want to avoid "dulling" the trim.
Can anyone recommend anything to remove the paint safely?
Thanks!

This is the black plastic trim; I'd try turps first to see if that shifts.
If not use cellulose thinner, but don't linger with it so it doesn't get a chance to damage plastic.
Try on a small inconspicuous area first.
Where's the pink come from?

try some iron x or get hold of a local detailer and ask for advice do not use turps. Try detailing world you will get good advice household chemicals will just ruin your trim.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll have a go with some cellulose thinners first and then progress on to iron X, then go a detailer if I don't get anywhere.
There was a puddle of paint in a car park hidden round a corner...which the car went straight through without us seeing it! Thankfully at low speed so it didn't splash too far!
