I have a 2 month old Qashqai I noticed the scuttle panel on the front screen is lifting on the drivers side its about a 7cm length of it thats raised. I tried to push it down but it wont stay down. Is this a common Qashqai issue ? Looking at it closely the scuttle panel looks poorly fitted generally.

Not common, but was mentioned a couple of time pre facelift. As it’s a new car I wouldn’t even bother waiting for remarks on here, jus get straight to your dealership and get them to sort it.

Rich, just as gvmdaddy mentioned your QQ is under Guarantee so use it. This is the old post from 2015 for the older model J1A which was put right under Guarantee - Dave

Great find thanks Dave, I did search the forum but didn't find that post. It sounds the same as what I have in terms of size and location. Was worried it was a complicated fix / bonded to windscreen but looks like a quick job hopefully. I thought may be it was glued and hot weather had caused it to lift.
